The project is located in Hunan, China, at The Jiahe Performing Arts Center, a government-owned public building. The metal roof has been in use for over seven years, with parts of it having collapsed, making direct adhesive installation infeasible. Polyshine Solar specifically designed an installation plan with steel pipes, enabling the successful installation of photovoltaic modules.
The local climate is characterized by high humidity and temperatures, requiring excellent weather resistance and water resistance in the modules. The high-polymer material used in the encapsulation of Jingyao modules offers exceptional resistance to heat and moisture, effectively slowing down the rate of power efficiency degradation, making it ideal for such an environment.
Polyshine Solar‘s lightweight photovoltaic modules add value to existing rooftops by enabling power generation, helping achieve carbon neutrality goals, and protecting the roof from further degradation. This extends the roof's lifespan while providing a green and safe solution to enhance cultural and performing arts facilities.
