The project is located in Shanghai, China, with rooftops made of PVC material. Given the schools’ heightened emphasis on safety, the installation solution required stringent safety standards.

Polyshine Solar’s lightweight and flexible photovoltaic modules are 70% lighter than traditional glass modules and can be directly adhered to the rooftop without the need for traditional brackets, making the system more secure and stable.

Furthermore, the modules meet Building Fire Safety Class B1 and UL94-V0 flame retardant standards and comply with the EN45545 European flame retardant standard. The modules incorporate advanced weather-resistant technology, providing heat insulation, sun protection, and resilience against wind and rain. This ensures long-term stable power generation while creating a safe and comfortable learning environment for students.

Upon completion, the project is expected to generate approximately 4.4 million kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 44,049 tons per year.
